Tonight I decided to start blogging. I've thought about doing it several times before but always had this voice in the back of my mind telling me, "you aren't a very good writer," "no one cares what you have to say," "will you really keep this up?" So, tonight I told the voice to hush and I'm just going to go for it! I can assure you it will not be the best writing you've read and more than likely most will not care what I type and that's okay...I'm just going to give it a try and see what happens!
I don't really know where to begin but to just introduce the Smiths!:) My name is Stephanie and I married Luke almost 3 years ago on beautiful Seagrove Beach in Florida. 9 months ago we welcomed Christopher "Truett" to our family and he has been an absolute delight...we LOVE being parents to him and are so blessed to have him in our lives. We love Jesus and enjoy serving Him with our church family at Indian Springs Baptist Church here in Bryant. Luke is a Bryant police officer and I am a RN at Arkansas Children's Hospital on 3E Orthopedic Med-Surg unit. We have been homeowners for almost 1 year now and just love our little starter home and I must say, we have the best neighbors ever-so friendly and inviting!
The major event of the day today was that we 3, as a family, went to the Bryant City Council meeting to watch Luke be recognized as Bryant's February Officer of the month-err! Luke volunteered to do a presentation for Cub Scouts of America. Truett and I are very proud of him and know that this recognition is well-deserved! I have a few pictures that I will post as soon as I figure out how to do so!:)
Well, that's all for today...if anyone has any tips for me, as far as templates and pictures and all...that'd be great!:) I'm excited to enter the world of blogging!:)
